Conveniently located near the intersection of Lark and Madison.

Lark Tavern's slogan has long been "Where Good Friends Meet" and for good reason. Friends and business associates appreciate its central location, easy going atmosphere, and the famously friendly staff.

More recently, Lark has become known for good friends, good food, and good music. With recent transition in ownership to Tess, officially making it Tess' Lark Tavern, we have seen an influx of new bands, great specials, and amazing additions to the menu as well as an eclectic mix of interesting people from the business, art, technology, science, and academic communities. It seems there is something for everyone at Tess' Lark Tavern.

The Lark Tavern is an interesting establishment with character throughout the building and history inherent in most all aspects of the bar. You wouldn't be the first one whose curiosity was peaked; read about Lark's history to learn more.

The famous bar and menu with an Irish pub feel to it has won over more than a few fans with its seemingly endless selection. Come and see for yourself.

Branden Wolfe, a 14 year old from Ballston Lake, lost his right hand. After a terrible accident and several weeks of hospitalization, a series of infections resulted in amputation. Despite his hardships, Branden is still doing great in school, maintaining honors, but he misses sports. With a new hand, people won’t see him just for his handicap. He will be able to shake hands with confidence and move on with his life. Branden needs help getting a prosthetic hand and covering medical expenses.
Join us at Tess’ Lark Tavern in Albany, NY anytime from 3:00-10:00pm on April 13, 2008 for Give Branden A Hand. A benefit concert in which all proceeds will go directly to help Branden. The lineup includes:Big Frank and the Bargain Bingers, Florence, Hot Lead (featuring: Geoff Ryan, Mitch Elrod, James Owens & Bernie Bluge), Scotty Mac, Cooper Union, Black Cat Elliot and many more.
